1. Purpose of the Consortium

The Consortium exists to bring together patients, families, clinicians, researchers, and advocates impacted by or working with International FPIES Association. Our goal is to advance education, research, advocacy, and community support related to FPIES.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or participate directly in our online Services.
• Parents or legal guardians may create and supervise accounts for minors under 18.
• By using the Services, you represent that you meet these requirements and will comply with applicable laws.

The Consortium does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Content on the platform—including articles, discussions, webinars, and resources—is for informational and educational purposes only. 4. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information when creating an account and contributing to discussions.

You represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights to your UGC and that your UGC does not infringe, misappropriate, or violate any third-party rights or applicable laws. We may, but are not obligated to, monitor, remove, or edit UGC at our discretion.

The Services may include links to third-party websites, resources, or events. These are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement. We are not responsible for third-party content, accuracy, or practices, and you access third-party resources at your own risk.

9. Accounts & Security

• You agree to keep your account information current and accurate.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for activities on your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach.

10. Prohibited Conduct

• Interfering with or disrupting the Services or servers.
• Reverse engineering, scraping, automated harvesting, or data mining without permission.

• Impersonating any person or entity or misrepresenting your affiliation.

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE CONSORTIUM AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, ADVISORS, PARTNERS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT WILL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100) OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Consortium and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, volunteers, advisors, partners, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms, your UGC, or your misuse of the Services.

15. Changes to the Services & Terms

We may update, modify, or discontinue all or part of the Services at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. The revised Terms will be effective upon posting, and your continued use of the Services after posting constitutes acceptance of the changes. 16. Governing Law; Venue
